Sultan bin Ahmed Launches New Digital Judicial Systems in Sharjah

Sharjah: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Judicial Council, launched the new digital judicial systems and reviewed recent developments and digital initiatives within the judicial ecosystem at the Sharjah Judicial Department building.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed emphasized that the integrated electronic system, developed to the highest technical standards, represents a significant advancement in the litigation system in Sharjah. This system plays a pivotal role in accelerating procedures, enhancing judicial performance efficiency, supporting digital transformation, and contributing to faster service delivery and improved customer satisfaction.

The Chairman of the Judicial Council acknowledged the efforts of the Judicial Council's team and its affiliated institutions in completing the project swiftly. He commended the level of institutional integration and technological advancement achieved, reflecting the Council's commitment to advancing judicial services and consolidating principles of excellence and sustainability in line with Sharjah's future vision.

H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed was briefed on the digital services provided by the Judicial Department, aligning with its objectives of strengthening digital transformation and enhancing the efficiency and quality of the judicial system and its services. He was introduced to the key services offered across various courts, secure and seamless access through registered accounts, availability of information, simplified submission of requests, and various electronic payment methods, all of which facilitate procedures, expedite case resolution, and improve customer experience.

The Chairman was also briefed on the digital services offered by the Public Prosecution, detailing the customer journey from application submission and report registration to investigation procedures, session attendance, judgment issuance, and enforcement. This integration of digital systems aims to simplify procedures, enhance transparency, improve judicial efficiency, and ensure swift transaction completion with accurate outcomes.

H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed reviewed development and digital initiatives affiliated with the Judicial Council, including the 'Athar' initiative, which promotes legal awareness and preventive justice, strengthening community trust and compliance culture. He was also briefed on the 'Preventive Justice for the Family' initiative, supported by artificial intelligence, which provides proactive solutions to family disputes, aiming to accelerate amicable settlements and protect children from family conflict consequences.

In addition, H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed explored the 'Virtual Legal Translator' system's technologies, enhancing judicial work quality by providing accurate and instant translation of documents. He also learned about the 'Tibyan' initiative, a virtual assistant for judicial services, which simplifies procedures and guides users through each step, promoting self-service.

The Chairman witnessed the signing of several partnership agreements between the Council and strategic partners to support the ongoing development of the judicial sector, enhancing service quality, customer satisfaction, expertise exchange, innovation, and digital transformation.

H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed also viewed a presentation on judicial system statistics regarding human resources, Emiratisation rates, financial resources, and technical statistics related to website development. Future plans of entities under the Judicial Council focus on enhancing institutional performance, developing human capacities, and preparing financial and technological infrastructure for sustainable judicial system development.
