Sharjah: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah (UoS), met with students who recently returned from their academic exchanges abroad at the university's main building. These students took part in the 'Study Abroad' programme, which was organised by the university in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. congratulated the students on completing their scholarships and returning home enriched with knowledge and experience. He commended their dedication to enhancing their academic and research skills and emphasised that the returning students serve as ambassadors for both the University of Sharjah and the UAE. He reminded them of their responsibility to uphold the highest academic and ethical standards.
H.H. noted that the programme strengthens students' scientific skills, fosters partnerships with leading international universities, and contributes to the advancement of higher education and research in the UAE. He also highlighted the students' role in gaining international cultural experiences while showcasing Emirati and Islamic culture to global audiences.
During the meeting, the students shared their experiences, challenges, and achievements across various academic disciplines.
