Hamburg: The Emirates Classification Society (TASNEEF) and the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM) have entered into a 10-year exclusive global agreement. Through TASNEEF-RINA Business Assurance, its certification arm, TASNEEF will act as the exclusive global certification partner for the implementation of the IFEM Emergency Department Certification Programme.
According to Emirates News Agency, this partnership was formalized during the International Conference on Emergency Medicine held in Hamburg. It aims to establish a structured model to evaluate emergency departments globally, with a focus on patient safety, operational efficiency, and adherence to international standards.
Under the agreement, TASNEEF will take on the role of the exclusive global certification partner, aiding healthcare institutions and countries worldwide in enhancing the quality of emergency departments, patient safety, governance, and operational excellence.
For TASNEEF, this agreement signifies a strategic move to bring UAE-based conformity assessment and certification capabilities to an international platform. This partnership is a significant step in TASNEEF's international expansion and the start of a long-term collaboration with a global impact.
