Fujairah: Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation (FNRC) has confirmed the completion of all preparations for the launch of the most prominent event on its economic and scientific agenda, the 10th Fujairah International Mining Conference, held under the theme 'Mineral Resources for a Sustainable Community.'
According to Emirates News Agency, the conference is scheduled to take place from October 28-30, 2025, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah. The event will be organized in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and the Arab Organisation for Industrial Development, Standardisation, and Mining. The announcement was made during a press conference held at FNRC headquarters, emphasizing the details of this year's event that will attract leading experts, specialists, investors, officials, and stakeholders globally.
The event marks a transformation from a 'Forum' to a 'Conference,' reflecting the substantial growth and momentum it has gained over the years. This change signifies its position as a premier platform for the mining sector both regionally and globally. The conference aims to showcase economic and developmental opportunities within the mining sector, highlighting its role in supporting sustainability strategies and enhancing Fujairah and the UAE's position as a regional and global hub.
Key themes of the conference include innovation and digital transformation through AI, data, and automation, corporate social responsibility in mining, geological tourism development, and preservation of geological heritage. The event will also announce winners of the Fujairah International Award for Best Sustainable Mining Practices, introducing new categories to encourage the adoption of best practices aligned with sustainable development goals.

Mohammed Saif Al Afkham, Chairman of FNRC, highlighted the transformation of the Fujairah Mining Forum into an international conference as a reflection of global trust in Fujairah and its vision to become a hub for sustainable mining.
