Jerusalem - Ma'an - A White House spokesman said on Sunday that the Israeli army's announcement of withdrawal from the southern Gaza Strip is likely just a "rest" for its forces. John Kirby told ABC, "From what we understand, and based on what they announced, it is actually a period of rest and fitness for his (Israeli army) forces who have been on the ground for four months."
