TRENDS to Participate in Beijing International Book Fair 2026 Within UAE Pavilion

Beijing: TRENDS Research and Advisory will participate in the 32nd Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF 2026), taking place from 17th to 21st July at the China National Convention Center. TRENDS will join under the UAE Pavilion, as the United Arab Emirates is the Guest of Honour this year, focusing on the theme Community and People.

According to Emirates News Agency, TRENDS' involvement underscores its dedication to expanding its presence on the international intellectual stage and forming knowledge partnerships with key global research and academic institutions. This participation aims to promote cultural exchange and dialogue among nations.

Abdulaziz Al Shehhi, Principal Researcher and Deputy Director-General of TRENDS Research and Advisory, as well as Head of the Beijing delegation, emphasized China's role as a strategic pillar in TRENDS' knowledge initiatives. He highlighted China's rich cultural heritage and its globally influential academic institutions. Al Shehhi stated that TRENDS' involvement in the book fair aligns with its mission to analyze global developments and offer forward-looking insights.

Additionally, Al Shehhi mentioned that TRENDS aims to enhance cooperation with leading Chinese and international think tanks to support knowledge production and dissemination. The organization is also exploring opportunities in digital transformation and knowledge management.

Rawda Al Marzouqi, Head of the Distribution and Exhibitions Sector at TRENDS, shared that their platform within the UAE Pavilion will feature a range of research publications and intellectual works for visitors from China and around the globe. She noted the alignment of TRENDS' participation with the fair's theme by presenting its latest publications and specialized series on strategic, political, and economic studies.

The display will also include selections from the TRENDS Encyclopedia on the Muslim Brotherhood, which has gained international attention and been translated into several languages. TRENDS' participation is part of the UAE Pavilion, which brings together over 120 participants from more than 20 federal, local, cultural, and academic institutions. The pavilion showcases the UAE's cultural and intellectual achievements, reflecting a national vision that blends authentic identity with openness to global cultures and knowledge exchange.
