Abu dhabi: TRENDS Research and Advisory is set to mark its debut participation in the 48th edition of the Kuwait International Book Fair, taking place from November 19th to 29th at the International Fairgrounds in Mishref. The event, organized by the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters, carries the theme "Homeland of the Book. Capital of Culture."
According to Emirates News Agency, TRENDS will present more than 500 research and knowledge publications at the fair. These publications will cover a broad range of topics, including cybersecurity, strategic affairs, the global economy, geopolitical transformations, technology, artificial intelligence, and future technologies. Additionally, the center plans to host a series of events, panel discussions, and intellectual meetings to foster public dialogue on significant global issues.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, emphasized the importance of the Kuwait International Book Fair as a pivotal platform for intellectual and knowledge exchange. He highlighted the event's role in bringing together academics, thinkers, researchers, and experts, which in turn reinforces the contribution of think tanks and research institutions in delivering valuable studies and analyses. Dr. Al-Ali further explained that TRENDS' participation aligns with its strategy to enhance its presence at major global intellectual forums, underscoring the significance of book fairs as venues for the exchange of ideas and expertise.
Hazza Al Hammadi, Head of the Exhibitions section at TRENDS' Distribution and Exhibitions Department, noted that the center's participation is in line with its mission to spread purposeful knowledge and make its publications available to a wider audience of specialists, researchers, and readers interested in scientific research globally.
Zayed Al Dhaheri, Head of the Distribution section at TRENDS' Distribution and Exhibitions Department, mentioned that TRENDS' pavilion will also introduce attendees to its extensive range of research, training, and consulting services. This initiative aims to create opportunities for establishing partnerships with leading intellectual and research institutions.
