Abu dhabi: Trkiye's exports to the European Union reached $55 billion during the first half (January-June) of 2026, marking a 4.7% increase compared to the same period in 2025, according to data by Turkish Exporters Assembly.
According to Emirates News Agency, Germany was the top export destination within the EU, accounting for $10.1 billion of the total exports. Italy and Spain followed, with exports totaling $6.8 billion and $5.6 billion, respectively.
EU shipments played a critical role in Trkiye's overall global export volume, which reached $136 billion for the first half of the year. This represents a 3.6% increase compared to the same period in the previous year.
