Abu dhabi: Two US soldiers were killed after an Apache military helicopter from Fort Hood crashed into a field in Texas on Wednesday, also sparking a large grass fire.
According to Emirates News Agency, Fort Hood confirmed in a statement that an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter had crashed, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers. The incident took place in Bell County, approximately 100 kilometers north of Austin, the state capital.
Cliff Coleman, an official in Bell County, provided details about the location of the crash, emphasizing the proximity to Austin and the impact of the crash, which triggered a significant grass fire in the area.
