UAE Ambassador Engages with Palau President to Enhance Bilateral Relations

Palau: Mohamed Obaid Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Philippines and Non-Resident Ambassador to Palau, recently held discussions with Surangel Whipps, Jr., President of the Republic of Palau, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations between their nations.

According to Emirates News Agency, Al Zaabi conveyed greetings from UAE leaders, including President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to President Whipps, Jr. The UAE leaders expressed their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Palau's government and people.

In response, President Whipps, Jr. extended his greetings to the UAE leaders and wished for further development and growth for the UAE. He praised the progress of bilateral relations and the UAE's development achievements on a global scale. The President expressed a strong desire to enhance cooperation with the UAE in investment, tourism, and renewable energy.

Al Zaabi reiterated the UAE's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Palau, aiming to serve common interests and deepen ties between the two countries. The meeting underscored both parties' dedication to expanding bilateral cooperation and coordinating on issues of mutual interest to advance development in both nations.
