UAE and Ireland Eye Stronger Economic Ties Through Enhanced Business Connectivity

Dubai: Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, recently met with Peter Burke, Ireland's Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, at the Ministry's headquarters in Dubai. The meeting focused on exploring avenues to strengthen cooperation in emerging economic sectors, future tourism projects, and partnerships between both countries' public and private sectors.

According to Emirates News Agency, Bin Touq highlighted that the foundation of UAE-Ireland relations lies in robust cooperation across essential economic and developmental sectors, including the new economy and tourism development. He stressed the tourism sector's pivotal role in enhancing business competitiveness, which benefits both nations.

Bin Touq also underscored the necessity of ongoing engagement between the UAE and Ireland's business communities. This interaction is crucial for developing joint initiatives, boosting investment flows, and increasing tourism exchange. The 32 weekly flights connecting the two countries facilitate tourism and business activities, opening more collaboration opportunities in these vital sectors.

Moreover, the discussions included preparations for the upcoming Investopia Global Dublin event, set to take place in the Irish capital this month. This event will gather entrepreneurs, specialists, and decision-makers to explore opportunities for cooperation in future economic sectors.
