Abu dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Milojko Spajic, Prime Minister of Montenegro, engaged in discussions to enhance cooperation between the UAE and Montenegro, focusing on expanding ties in economic, developmental, educational, cultural, and renewable energy sectors. The dialogue supports the growth-oriented priorities of both countries and serves their mutual interests.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting was held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi during the Montenegrin Prime Minister's working visit to the UAE. Both leaders expressed a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral relations across multiple fields to achieve further progress and development in line with the aspirations of their respective nations.
The discussions also encompassed regional and international issues of mutual interest. A significant outcome of the meeting was the witnessing of a memorandum of understanding in the energy sector between the UAE and Montenegro, signed by His Excellency Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and His Excellency Admir Å ahmanovic, Montenegrin Minister of Energy and Mining.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, among other ministers and senior state officials.
