Belgrade: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Serbian President His Excellency Aleksandar Vucic attended a military parade marking the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom, and National Flag. The event was part of His Highness' working visit to Serbia.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed was welcomed by President Vucic and senior Serbian officials upon his arrival at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade, where the parade took place. The parade showcased units of the Serbian Armed Forces, including military vehicles, defence systems, river fleet vessels, command and protection forces, air defence units, and paratroopers. A ceremonial display of the Serbian national flag, approximately 300 metres long, was also featured.
H.H. Sheikh Mohamed congratulated President Vucic on the national occasion, expressing wishes for Serbia's progress, stability, and prosperity. He reaffirmed the strength of UAE-Serbia relations and the commitment to enhancing bilateral ties for the benefit of both nations and their peoples.
The parade was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; along with several ministers and senior officials accompanying H.H. during the visit.
H.H. later departed Belgrade, concluding his working visit to Serbia.
