UAE Artificial Intelligence Office Partners with Samsung for 3rd Innovation Programme

Abu dhabi: The UAE's Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, in collaboration with Samsung Gulf Electronics, has launched the third edition of the 'Samsung Innovation Campus' programme. This initiative is part of the UAE Artificial Intelligence Camp 2025 and aims to nurture a new generation of talent and innovators in the field of artificial intelligence within the UAE.

According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership integrates Samsung's globally recognized Samsung Innovation Campus programme into the UAE Artificial Intelligence Camp. As the region's largest gathering of AI events, workshops, and hackathons, the program seeks to enhance participants' understanding of AI fundamentals for the second consecutive year.

Dr. Abdelrahman Al Mahmoud, Director at the UAE Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, emphasized the UAE Government's commitment to maintaining partnerships with leading global technology companies. He highlighted the importance of exchanging best practices, expertise, and knowledge and launching joint educational programmes to fulfill the UAE's visions in artificial intelligence.

Dr. Al Mahmoud further noted that the inclusion of the Samsung Innovation Campus in the UAE Artificial Intelligence Camp offers participants diverse learning opportunities. This initiative aligns with the UAE Government's efforts to cultivate the skills of the new generation of AI innovators and experts, enhancing their contributions to the future.

DooHee Lee, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics, expressed his belief in the synergy of education and technology for progress. He stated that bringing the Samsung Innovation Campus to the UAE AI Camp goes beyond teaching; it actively prepares future leaders for success in an AI-driven world. Lee affirmed Samsung's commitment to empowering young minds and supporting the UAE's endeavors to prepare youth for a tech-driven future.

The Samsung Innovation Campus curriculum, part of Samsung's global CSR initiative, aims to enhance digital literacy and innovation among youth. It offers courses in AI, machine learning, data analysis, and IoT, providing participants with insights and practical skills crucial for careers in the fast-evolving technology sector.

The UAE AI Camp 2025, spanning mid-July to mid-August, included over 70 sessions, workshops, hackathons, and lectures. It engaged diverse societal segments, from children and students to AI and coding experts, offering a comprehensive learning experience across themes like AI's future, data science, smart applications, AI governance, cybersecurity, and virtual reality.
