Abu dhabi: The United Arab Emirates has reiterated its commitment to regional security and stability, emphasizing collaboration with regional and international partners to protect the region from conflicts' impacts. According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE has strongly condemned the unprovoked Iranian attacks and threats targeting the UAE and neighboring countries. The attacks involved the launch of nearly 3,000 ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones directed at the UAE, leading to civilian casualties, injuries, and damage to civilian infrastructure. These actions represent a violation of state sovereignty and pose a direct threat to regional security and stability. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) highlighted that all measures taken by the UAE are defensive, aimed at protecting its sovereignty, civilians, and infrastructure, aligning with the nation's legitimate right to secure its national security and stability. The Ministry affirmed that the UAE reserves its full sovereign, legal, dipl omatic, and military rights to counter any threats or hostile acts. The Ministry also noted that coercive attempts or malicious narratives would not undermine the UAE's principled positions or deter the country from protecting its national interests and maintaining its sovereignty. The Ministry emphasized that the UAE continues its coordination and consultation with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states and other regional and international partners to support regional security and stability and to enhance joint Gulf cooperation.
