Gaza: The UAE field hospital in the Gaza Strip continues its medical and humanitarian services as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, supporting the health system and reinforcing its capacity to address current humanitarian challenges. The hospital remains an essential player in providing comprehensive healthcare services, including examinations, treatments, and surgeries, aimed at alleviating the suffering of residents and ensuring the continuity of health services in Gaza.
According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE field hospital has hosted delegations from the World Health Organisation and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. These delegations evaluated the quality and operational mechanisms of the services provided across the hospital's departments. The Palestinian Red Crescent delegation commended the UAE's humanitarian role and the efforts of its medical and relief teams at the field hospital, acknowledging their significant contribution to treating and caring for the injured and sick.
These initiatives underscore the collaboration between UAE efforts and international organisations under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which has successfully delivered around 10,000 tonnes of medical aid, medicines, and supplies. The hospital has managed to treat over 52,000 cases, perform 1,843 surgeries, and fit prosthetic limbs for 61 injured patients.
