Abu Dhabi:UAE Government Media Office The UAE Government Media Office has introduced the Guide to Agentic AI Applications for Government Communication Teams, aimed at enhancing the federal government's communication framework and adapting to advancements in artificial intelligence.
According to Emirates News Agency, the guide is designed to equip national talent with tools to improve efficiency, content quality, and audience engagement in government communication. The initiative includes a workshop on agentic AI, conducted in partnership with the New Media Academy, as part of the Government Communication Network meeting.
Saeed Al Eter, Chairman of the UAE Government Media Office, emphasized the guide's role in advancing government communication by utilizing emerging technologies. He highlighted the importance of maintaining human oversight to ensure the accuracy and credibility of government messaging, despite technological advancements.
The guide provides a structured approach for integrating agentic AI into communication workflows, covering areas such as content development, visual production, and media analysis. It stresses the importance of professional oversight, human review, and institutional approval to maintain trust and accountability.
The workshop accompanying the guide's launch focused on practical applications of AI in media content creation, visual communication, and monitoring. Participants engaged in hands-on exercises, including building an AI assistant, to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world communication scenarios.
