UAE Government Media Office Launches New Edition of ‘Specialised Content Creator’ Programme

Dubai: The UAE Government Media Office, with the presence of Saeed Al Eter, Chairman of the UAE Government Media Office, has introduced the latest edition of the 'Specialised Content Creator' Programme. This initiative, in collaboration with the New Media Academy-the first of its kind in the Middle East focusing on digital media-aims to cultivate national talent in digital content production across key sectors such as economy, business, law, medicine, mental health, agriculture, and food security.

According to Emirates News Agency, the programme has attracted 50 participants from various government and private entities. It seeks to nurture a cadre of content creators by equipping them with skills to transform specialized knowledge and practical experience into clear and reliable digital content for the public. Scheduled from 13th to 30th October, the programme aims to enhance the capabilities of specialists in both government and private sectors to produce sector-specific content, empowering national talent in digital media in alignment with international standards.

Khadija Hussain, Executive Director of Government Communication at the UAE Government Media Office, emphasized that the programme is guided by a strategic objective to enhance the capabilities of professionals in both sectors to leverage digital opportunities, address challenges, and deliver accurate content. She reiterated the Office's commitment to enriching the knowledge of communication employees and talented content creators, providing an integrated platform for training aligned with international best practices.

Hussein Al Atoli, Director of the New Media Academy, highlighted that this new edition builds on the successes of its predecessor, producing a cohort of national talent skilled in crafting professional media messages. He affirmed the Academy's dedication to building a new generation of content creators capable of producing media with clear value, supported by integrated educational programs that combine practical and theoretical training.

Held at Emirates Towers in Dubai, the programme includes training sessions, lectures, and workshops conducted by creative content creators and experts in digital media and content production. The training covers the art of creative storytelling, media message formulation, scriptwriting, digital filming, and editing, aiming to equip participants with practical tools for creating impactful digital content.

The programme also delves into the use of artificial intelligence tools in content production, strategies for digital campaigns, and audience engagement on social media, facilitating the transformation of academic knowledge into reliable digital content. It underscores the significance of specialized digital content in delivering reliable information, countering misinformation, and enhancing public trust in national institutions.
