Abu dhabi: The 8th UAE National Mixed Martial Arts Championship concluded today at Mubadala Arena, drawing significant public attendance and showcasing high-level competition. The two-day event was organised by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation and aimed to identify national talent to strengthen the UAE national team. This initiative further reinforces the country's leadership in the sport and its dedication to nurturing future champions.
According to Emirates News Agency, the final day of the championship featured bouts in the Youth A and Adult categories. Yousef Abdullah Al Battran, a Federation Board Member, remarked that this edition marked a milestone in professional standards and organisational excellence. He particularly noted the strong family presence, which aligns with the "Year of Family."
Athletes from ADMA Academy, such as gold medalist Saif Saud Al Junaibi and bronze medalist Hamza Al Kilani, commended the tournament as an essential platform for skill development.
