Sharjah:UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Dr. Markus Söder, the Minister-President of Bavaria, during the latter's working visit to the UAE. The meeting focused on strengthening the cooperative ties between the UAE and Bavaria, particularly in sectors crucial for future growth such as the economy, advanced technology, energy, innovation, and industry.
According to Sharjah 24, both leaders highlighted the positive outcomes of Sheikh Mohamed's recent visit to Germany, emphasizing the importance of advancing bilateral partnerships. They explored avenues for building on this momentum through long-term economic and development collaborations that would support future industries and facilitate the exchange of expertise.
The meeting also covered discussions on the upcoming 2026 UN Water Conference, scheduled to be hosted in the UAE in December. Sheikh Mohamed and Dr. Söder underscored the significance of the conference in fostering collective efforts to devise innovative water solutions and enhance sustainable water security, which is vital for global development.
