Abu dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone call with His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to discuss the fraternal relations between their countries and explore ways to enhance cooperation for the benefit of their peoples.
According to Emirates News Agency, the leaders reviewed regional and international issues of mutual concern, focusing on recent developments in the region. They emphasized the importance of implementing the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the people there.
The conversation also highlighted the need for a just and comprehensive peace in the region, grounded in a two-state solution as the only viable path to achieving enduring peace and stability. Both leaders stressed the significance of promoting peace and resolving conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic efforts for the benefit of all regional populations.
