Dubai: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded the First-Class Order of Zayed II to Archbishop Christophe Z. El-Kassis, Ambassador of the Holy See, marking the conclusion of his tenure in the country.
According to Emirates News Agency, Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, presented the Order to El-Kassis during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office in Dubai. During this meeting, Al Marar acknowledged El-Kassis' contributions to promoting a culture of tolerance and human fraternity.
El-Kassis expressed appreciation to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, acknowledging the UAE's efforts in fostering values of tolerance, coexistence, and mutual respect.
