Abu Dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, India's Minister of External Affairs, during his visit to the UAE. The meeting took place at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, where Dr. Jaishankar conveyed greetings from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed wishes for the UAE's continued prosperity.
According to Emirates News Agency, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed reciprocated by extending his regards to Prime Minister Modi, wishing for India's growth and progress. The discussions focused on various aspects of the bilateral relationship, emphasizing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and Comprehensive Economic Partnership between the two nations. The meeting also addressed several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The gathering was attended by prominent UAE officials, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister; H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; and other members of the UAE leadership and government. These officials, alongside a number of ministers and top guests, underscored the significance of the meeting in enhancing ties between the UAE and India.
