Abu dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received His Excellency Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait. During the meeting, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister conveyed greetings from His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, along with wishes for the UAE's continued security and prosperity. In response, His Highness the UAE President extended his greetings to the Emir of Kuwait, expressing hopes for Kuwait's continued growth and prosperity.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions centered around the strong fraternal relations between the UAE and Kuwait, exploring ways to enhance cooperation to serve mutual interests and benefit their peoples. The meeting also focused on developments in the region and their implications for regional and international security and stability. The ongoing Iranian terrorist attacks targeting the UAE, Kuwait, and other countries in the region, including assaults on civilians and infrastructure, were highlighted as concerns.
Efforts by the UAE and Kuwait to protect their security, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of their citizens were also discussed. The meeting was attended by several prominent UAE officials, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister; H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; and other officials.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah departed the UAE, with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other officials present to bid him farewell.
