Abu dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has announced that celebrations will take place across the United Arab Emirates in January 2026 to honor the enduring relationship between the UAE and the State of Kuwait. These celebrations are set to commence on January 29, 2026, and will continue for a week.
According to Emirates News Agency, the directive underscores the historical ties between the two nations and their peoples, which have been cultivated over decades. His Highness emphasized the fraternity and kinship that characterize the UAE's relationship with Kuwait. He reminisced about Kuwait's support both before and after the UAE's formation, noting the country's generosity and readiness to assist.
