Abu dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, where both leaders exchanged cordial greetings ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, expressing hopes for blessings and prosperity for their nations and for global peace and stability.
According to Emirates News Agency, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, along with his wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the UAE and its people. In return, the UAE President asked Shaikh Nasser to convey his greetings to King Hamad bin Isa and expressed his hopes for further progress and growth for Bahrain and its citizens.
The meeting also focused on the fraternal ties between the UAE and Bahrain, emphasizing mutual commitment to strengthen cooperation at all levels. Present at the meeting were several high-ranking officials, including H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; and other esteemed members of the UAE leadership.
