Abu dhabi: The UAE Pro League Board of Directors convened on Sunday to evaluate the preparations for the 2026-27 season, focusing on organisational, technical, and operational aspects to ensure a strong beginning for the forthcoming campaign. The meeting marked the first of the 2026-27 season and was led by UAE Pro League Chairman Abdulla Naser Al Jneibi, with the attendance of Board members and department directors.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Board also examined the final arrangements for the UAE Pro League Awards Ceremony for the 2025-26 season. This prestigious event is scheduled to take place on 10 August 2026 at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. The ceremony will celebrate the outstanding performers of the season, reflecting the increasing prominence of UAE football.
Additionally, the Board discussed reports presented by the executive management and relevant committees. These discussions included a review of progress on strategic and organisational issues, which are crucial for the implementation of the UAE Pro League's future plans and objectives.
