Baku: The UAE Public Prosecution participated in a specialised law enforcement meeting held during COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The meeting, titled "Mobilising Law Enforcement for Enhanced Climate Action," aimed to harness the collective power of law enforcement agencies to address pressing climate change challenges. According to Emirates News Agency, the PP delegation, led by First Attorney General Sultan Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Juwaied, engaged with international counterparts to discuss strategies for enhancing cooperation, exchanging best practices, and strengthening the capacity of law enforcement agencies in environmental protection. By participating in these high-level discussions, the PP reaffirms its commitment to combating environmental crimes and ensuring compliance with both domestic and international environmental laws and regulations.
