Abu dhabi: The United Arab Emirates Represented by its official postal service provider, Emirates Post, the UAE has secured the top position globally in the Customer Service category for its express mail services. It has also been honored with the Gold Performance Award for 2024, a prestigious recognition presented by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) through its Express Mail Service Cooperative (EMS).
According to Emirates News Agency, the awards were presented at the official meeting preceding the launch of the 28th Universal Postal Congress - Dubai 2025. This prominent event for the international postal sector is hosted by the UAE from September 8 to 19. These accolades reflect the UAE's vision in building a smart services infrastructure that meets high standards of efficiency, quality, and reliability, thus strengthening its position as a global leader in the logistics sector.
The UAE secured the Gold Performance Award following an extensive evaluation that assessed operational efficiency across various domains, such as international networks, customer satisfaction, responsiveness, and compliance with delivery schedules. The assessment revealed high performance indicators, ranging from 95 percent to 98 percent across all phases of service, from shipment receipt to final delivery, including post-delivery support.
Winning first place in the Customer Service category highlights the impact of ongoing investments in digital customer experience initiatives and the development of intelligent and responsive service channels. This underscores the country's commitment to achieving organizational excellence.
