Kigali: Tadej Pogacar, for the second time in as many years, clinched victory in the UCI World Championships Road Race, ensuring that UAE Team Emirates-XRG retains the coveted rainbow jersey for another year. The Slovenian cyclist made a decisive move, breaking away solo with 66km remaining, and maintained his lead to the finish line.
According to Emirates News Agency, the event, hosted in Kigali, Rwanda, attracted significant crowds, with the challenging finishing circuit adding to the excitement. The race featured demanding climbs and cobblestones, presenting the ultimate challenge for the competing cyclists.
