The UK Foreign Ministry, in coordination with European partners, summoned on Wednesday the Iranian Charge d'Affaires of the Iranian Embassy in London Ali Matinfar over Iran's transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia to use in the war with Ukraine. A Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) spokesperson said that the UK Government was clear that any transfer of Ballistic Missiles to Russia would be seen as a dangerous escalation, and would face a significant response. The summons follow yesterday's announcement where the UK, alongside international partners outlined significant new measures against Iran and Russia, including cancelling bilateral Air Services Arrangements with Iran. The UK has also sanctioned a number of key individuals and organizations for their involvement in Iran's military support to Russia. Source: Kuwait News Agency
