Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has stated that Union Pledge Day serves as a pivotal national occasion embodying the values of allegiance, unity, and dedication to the UAE's foundational principles.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed emphasized that Union Pledge Day provides an opportunity to honor the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the founding rulers who established the UAE on the principles of solidarity and shared purpose. He highlighted that the day is a celebration of the nation's journey and achievements across various sectors, driven by a leadership focused on human development and the Union as a guiding principle.
He further noted that as the UAE marks Union Pledge Day, there is a renewal of commitment to the values of unity and loyalty to the homeland. He stressed the collective responsibility to preserve the legacy of the nation's founders and advance it with resolve and vision, aiming for continued progress and global leadership.
