Waha Capital Reports AED338 Million Net Profit for First Half of 2026

Abu dhabi: Waha Capital PJSC announced a net profit of AED338 million for the first half of 2026, marking a 62 percent increase from the previous year. Total income reached AED479 million, while assets under management (AUM) were recorded at AED13.9 billion as of June 30, 2026.

According to Emirates News Agency, third-party assets under management grew to approximately AED8.5 billion following net inflows of over US$300 million during the period. Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, Chairman of Waha Capital, attributed the company's robust performance to its diversified investment platform, disciplined capital allocation, and consistent execution of its long-term strategy.

Al Muhairi highlighted that the first half of the year underscored the value of diversification as a core strength of Waha Capital's business model. He noted that the company's portfolio is strategically positioned across geographies, sectors, and asset classes, enabling it to navigate various market cycles and identify emerging opportunities.

Mohamed Hussain Al Nowais, Managing Director of Waha Capital, commented on the strong performance of the company's business pillars despite challenging macroeconomic conditions. He stated that Waha Investments had continued to build momentum by attracting over US$300 million in third-party capital, with total assets under management exceeding US$3 billion during the period. He also noted that Private Investments experienced significant growth, with net profit tripling year-on-year to AED114 million, while Waha Land advanced its industrial and logistics platform expansion, strengthening its recurring income base.

During the first half of 2026, Waha Land executed the next phase of its growth strategy, developing approximately 225,000 square meters of additional industrial and logistics assets. These projects, representing a capital investment of more than AED500 million, are set to expand Waha Land's leasable portfolio significantly, supporting future recurring income and long-term growth.

In addition to its expansion efforts, Waha Land continued to advance build-to-suit opportunities, aligning with its strategy of developing purpose-built assets for long-term tenants and enhancing the quality of its portfolio.
