RAMALLAH: Generally clear skies are expected today in Palestine with a slight rise in temperature but the weather remains relatively cold in the mountainous areas and warm in the rest of the country, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department. Winds are easterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low. Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 12°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 16°C and a low of 11°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 15°C, and a high of 21°C and a low of 15°C in Gaza and the coastal areas. Another rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Wednesday, but the weather remains cold in the mountainous areas and warm in the rest of the country. A slight drop in temperature is expected on Thursday, which remains the same on Friday, said the PMD.
