RAMALLAH: Weather on Monday is expected to be very hot with a slight rise in temperature, becoming 4-5 degrees warmer than the annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD). Winds are light to moderate, westerly to northwesterly, and occasionally picking up in speed. Sea conditions will see waves of light to moderate height. As evening approaches, temperatures will become mild in mountainous regions and relatively warm elsewhere. Hot conditions are expected to continue on Tuesday as temperature slightly drops while remaining 3-4 degrees warmer than the annual average. No changes in weather conditions or temperature are expected on Wednesday and Thursday. PMD warned citizens against exposure to direct sunlight for a long period, especially during peak hours, and of the danger of setting fires in areas where grasses and dry trees abound.
