WHX Tech 2025 Concludes with Emphasis on Agnostic AI and Femtech

Dubai: The inaugural edition of WHX Tech, a three-day platform for digital health innovation, concluded at the Dubai World Trade Centre with engaging discussions on the future of digital health. The event, which featured various sessions across three stages, emphasized the role of agnostic AI and femtech in transforming healthcare.

According to Emirates News Agency, the event also marked the announcement of the winner of the region's first digital health start-up competition, who received a US$50,000 prize to propel their business into its next growth phase. Atif Albraiki, the Chief Digital and AI Officer at Dubai Health, a key partner of the event, highlighted WHX Tech's role in fostering collaboration within the industry to drive innovation.

Albraiki noted how Dubai Health is utilizing digital innovation and artificial intelligence to revolutionize healthcare delivery, showcasing initiatives such as smart hospital rooms, AI-enabled pain management, and intelligent medical records to create more personalized patient experiences.

The event featured over 200 expert speakers and 300 exhibitors, with sessions addressing the challenges and opportunities in digital health for displaced populations. A notable panel discussion underscored the impact of women in reshaping health innovation and investment.

The Xcelerate competition, the region's largest start-up contest focusing on digital health, concluded with 40 companies presenting their solutions. Strolll, a digital therapeutic software for augmented reality (AR) glasses, won the Xcelerate Champion of Innovation Award. Sally Thompson, Group Event Director at Informa Markets, expressed satisfaction at witnessing the crowning of the competition's winner, marking a successful end to WHX Tech's inaugural edition.
