A 6.2 magnitude earthquake strikes near coast of Venezuela

CARACAS: An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale hit near the coast of Venezuela today. According to the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, the epicentre of the earthquake was 93 kilometres deep. Source: Emirates News Agency
