Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club has achieved a significant victory by securing three medals at the "Copa del Almirante" International Championship in Spain. The team proudly returned home with two gold medals and one silver medal, showcasing their outstanding performance in the competition.
According to Emirates News Agency, the gold medals were clinched by the talented Khalifa Al Rumaithi in the Optimist category, specifically in the Youth and Under-13 sections. Meanwhile, Hamad Al Muhairi added to the club's success by securing a silver medal in the Under-11 category. This achievement highlights the dedication and skill of the young sailors representing the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.
Looking ahead, the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club is gearing up for its next challenge. The club has announced its participation in the Italy International Championship, scheduled to take place from August 12th to 14th. The event will see 350 sailors from 29 different countries competing, with the Optimist sailing team from Abu Dhabi ready to make their mark on the international stage once again.
