UAE Conducts 68th Airdrop of Aid in ‘Birds of Kindness’ Operation, Delivering 540 Tons of Food to Gaza

Abu dhabi: The United Arab Emirates continues its humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, executing the 68th airdrop of aid as part of the 'Birds of Kindness' operation, a segment of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with Jordan and included participation from Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France. According to Emirates News Agency, the shipment comprised basic food supplies prepared with the assistance of several UAE-based charitable organizations, aimed at meeting the needs of the population amid challenging humanitarian conditions in the area. Additionally, 20 trucks carrying 540 tons of food entered Gaza through land border crossings, as part of the UAE's ongoing efforts to ensure the supply of vital aid by both land and air. With this operation, the total volume of aid air-dropped by the UAE exceeds 3,908 tons of various relief items, including food and essential supplies, reinforcing its sustained commitmen t to supporting the Palestinian people and strengthening their resilience. These actions underscore the UAE's leadership role in international humanitarian aid, coordinating efforts with regional and international partners and promoting a unified approach to alleviate the suffering of people affected in crisis areas.
