ADGM Courts and Wilberforce Chambers Launch Innovative Legal Digital Publication

Abu dhabi: ADGM Courts, in partnership with Wilberforce Chambers, have unveiled The ADGM Book, a digital publication aimed at providing comprehensive commentary for legal practitioners involved with the Court, or those looking to understand the Courts' practices and procedures.

According to Emirates News Agency, the online publication integrates the ADGM Courts Procedure Rules 2016 with the Court's Practice Directions. Authored by Daniel Lewis and Daniel Jukes of Wilberforce Chambers, the book aims to streamline access to important legal guidelines.

A special launch event was hosted by ADGM and Wilberforce Chambers at the Rosewood Abu Dhabi, located on Al Maryah Island. Key speakers included Lord Hope of Craighead KT, Chief Justice of ADGM Courts, and Linda Fitz-Alan, Registrar and Chief Executive of ADGM Courts, along with the authors.

Lord Hope highlighted the convenience offered by the publication, noting that it consolidates the previously separate Procedure Rules and Practice Directions into a single, easily accessible resource. He emphasized the benefit of instant updates, avoiding the delays and costs associated with traditional print editions.

Linda Fitz-Alan commented on the launch, emphasizing that the book demonstrates ADGM's dedication to access, clarity, and innovation in legal processes. She reiterated the importance of modern justice being transparent, inclusive, and digitally accessible.

Nicholas Luckman, Practice Director at Wilberforce Chambers, expressed pride in the collaboration. He highlighted Wilberforce's commitment to the Middle East legal landscape, particularly in the UAE, and the value the publication brings to legal practitioners in the region.

The ADGM Book is a significant step in reinforcing ADGM's reputation as a leader in dispute resolution, aligning with its mission to offer top-tier judicial services supporting Abu Dhabi's economic goals.
