Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has formed a strategic partnership with Rabdan Academy to train the future generation of Emirati professionals for impactful roles within Abu Dhabi's industrial sector. This initiative was unveiled at the Make it in the Emirates Forum 2025 (MIITE), showcasing Abu Dhabi's dedication to nurturing a competitive national workforce in line with the emirate's long-term economic transformation goals.
According to Emirates News Agency, as Abu Dhabi advances its industrial ecosystem, the collaboration between ADIO and Rabdan Academy will introduce training and certification programmes tailored to meet labor market demands. These programmes aim to raise awareness of private sector career opportunities across the industrial value chain and are designed for critical sectors such as safety, security, defense, emergency preparedness, and crisis management (SSDEC), equipping Emirati talent with necessary future-ready skills.
The training will be delivered through a mix of in-person sessions, digital learning, and flexible course structures, supporting both current workforce upskilling and the preparation of new talent. The partnership also includes collaborative research, industry engagement, and national outreach efforts to enhance understanding of opportunities within the industrial sector.
The initiative, focused on making a significant impact, will serve all regions of Abu Dhabi, ensuring that Emirati talent is equipped with the skills needed to lead in high-growth industrial fields. Mohammad Ali Al Kamali, Chief Trade and Industry Officer at ADIO, emphasized the importance of this partnership in developing a skilled national workforce that is poised to pursue impactful careers and contribute to the emirate's economic transformation.
Hamad Al Zaabi, Executive Director of Support Service Sector at Rabdan Academy, highlighted the partnership as a key milestone in enhancing industrial and societal security in the UAE. He noted that the collaboration aims to furnish Emirati generations with the skills needed to adapt to rapid industrial changes, thereby bolstering Abu Dhabi's position as a global leader in resilience and innovation.
