Abu Dhabi:The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has intensified its efforts in community participation and family-oriented awareness programmes, expanding its reach through diverse communication channels to engage various segments of society.
According to Wam, these initiatives align with the objectives of the 'Year of the Family 2026' and are part of the Department's ongoing efforts to strengthen family cohesion and raise community awareness about positive values and behaviours that support family stability.
During the first nine months of 2026, the ADJD broadcast 27 radio episodes as part of the 'Happy Home' programme on the Abu Dhabi Holy Qur'an Radio, addressing family issues and delivering educational messages to foster positive family relationships. Additionally, seven interactive workshops were conducted for employees of national companies, focusing on the impact of stable home life on the work environment. The Department also hosted seven awareness lectures across various Abu Dhabi councils under the 'Majalisna' (Our Councils) initiative.
Community engagement extended to activities marking the International Day of Families across shopping malls in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. These events included interactive activities, panel discussions, and family-oriented educational games aimed at strengthening family bonds.
The ADJD's participation in the Sheikh Zayed Festival further broadened its outreach, providing family counselling services to reinforce the importance of preserving the family unit. This reflects the Department's integrated approach to enhancing social awareness and promoting family values to support community stability.
