Abu dhabi: Bader Saeed Al Lamki, Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, announced an innovative initiative at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2025).
According to Emirates News Agency, ADNOC Distribution is set to unveil "The Hub", a new concept that aims to transform the on-the-road retail experience throughout the UAE.
The Hub is envisioned as a comprehensive destination that integrates fuel services with ultra-fast electric vehicle charging, alongside a variety of dining and entertainment options. This all-encompassing experience will debut with its first location in Abu Dhabi by the end of November, occupying a space three times larger than existing ADNOC service stations. Over the next three years, ADNOC Distribution plans to establish 30 such locations, thereby reshaping the country's retail landscape and reinforcing its leadership in the non-fuel retail sector.
Al Lamki highlighted that both ADNOC Oasis and The Hub stand to gain from the rapid expansion of the retail sector, as ADNOC Distribution continues to lead as the UAE's premier multi-service station operator. He also pointed out the company's pivotal role in ADNOC Group's strategy to broaden energy access, with a network of approximately 980 service stations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
In light of its digital transformation goals, ADNOC Distribution is rolling out over 20 AI-powered initiatives across its value chain, including predictive retailing and emissions optimisation. These efforts underscore ADNOC's leadership in integrating AI technologies within the energy sector. Al Lamki noted that the non-fuel retail segment has emerged as a significant growth driver, with gross profit increasing by 14.7 percent year-on-year.
The company's commitment to community impact is evident in its efforts to ensure safe and healthy journeys for customers while expanding services to meet local community needs. Al Lamki also shared that the ADNOC Rewards loyalty programme membership grew by 17.3 percent, reaching 2.53 million users, reflecting the company's dedication to enhancing the customer experience and digital engagement.
ADNOC Distribution has extended its dividend policy until 2030 and will adopt a quarterly distribution system starting from the first quarter of 2026, ensuring sustainable returns for shareholders. On the international stage, the company's Voyager lubricants have expanded to 50 countries, with plans to extend to 3,000 points of sale by 2026.
Looking ahead, ADNOC Distribution aims to expand its network to 1,150 service stations by 2028, aligning with its vision of building a future-ready multi-energy distribution network. Recent achievements include record quarterly earnings, with net profit growing by 21.5 percent year-on-year, demonstrating the strength of its five-year strategy.
In terms of sustainable mobility, the company continues to lead the energy transition through its E2GO network, which currently encompasses 368 electric vehicle charging points, with plans to increase this number to 500 by 2028. ADNOC Distribution's strategic expansion in Saudi Arabia, doubling its stations to 172, further enhances its regional presence and cross-border service offerings.
