AED57 Million Allocated to Aid Financially Distressed Individuals Over Two Years: ADJD

Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has unveiled the remarkable achievements of its humanitarian initiative 'Partners in Giving,' implemented in collaboration with various contributors, institutions, and supporting entities.

According to Emirates News Agency, the initiative successfully provided financial assistance exceeding AED57 million over 2024 and 2025, benefiting 1,461 cases, including financially distressed individuals and inmates in correctional and rehabilitation centers.

Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of ADJD, emphasized that the initiative aligns with the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, focusing on human well-being and embedding values of giving and social responsibility. He further highlighted the initiative's reflection of directives from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, emphasizing a judicial system that harmonizes law with justice by offering support to alleviate financial burdens.

The assistance framework prioritized low-income individuals struggling to meet obligations from judicial rulings, financially distressed inmates, and debtors in humanitarian and family-related cases. This strategy aims to maintain family stability and shield individuals from legal and social repercussions.

Statistics from January 2024 to December 2025 indicate that the financial support, exceeding AED57 million, was entirely allocated to humanitarian cases. The initiative benefited approximately 1,461 individuals from over 50 nationalities, highlighting its wide-ranging impact.

Financial data also showcased efficient resource management and improved humanitarian case support indicators, such as increased assistance value and targeted spending for vulnerable cases. In 2025, there was a 65 percent rise in beneficiaries compared to 2024, enhancing the societal impact of ADJD's initiatives. This expansion underscores the judicial system's role as an active partner in humanitarian efforts and community development.
