Ahmed Bin Saeed Inaugurates ISM Middle East 2025 and Private Label Middle East 2025 at Dubai World Trade Centre

Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, officially opened ISM Middle East and Private Label Middle East at the Dubai World Trade Centre today. These events are two of the region's most influential trade shows, marking their largest editions to date. The confectionery and snack sales across the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (APMEA) region are projected to reach $389.8 billion by year-end, while the global private label market is expected to hit $2271.07 billion by 2033. These shows have become launchpads of choice for industry giants aiming to secure first-mover advantage.

According to Emirates News Agency, the international reach of ISM Middle East and Private Label Middle East has been driven by these market dynamics. Renowned global brands, including Careem, Nestle, Nesto Group, and others, attended the events, seeking to capitalize on expanding opportunities in the region's high-growth markets.

ISM Middle East commenced with a three-day showcase featuring the world's innovative sweet and snack brands, focusing on bold flavors, textures, and health-conscious confectionery. The event achieved a record-breaking international participation rate of 86%, with over 700 exhibitors from 66 countries presenting more than 60,000 innovative products from leading names like The Fini Group and Katrina Sweets.

Private Label Middle East solidified its status as the region's exclusive private label event, providing buyers unique opportunities to connect with manufacturers. The event witnessed an international presence of 81.77%, with top exhibitors such as Scrub Daddy, Epson Middle East, and others showcasing their latest offerings.

Both trade events have become prominent platforms for global product launches. ISM Middle East saw Lestello introduce a new product aimed at combining wellness with indulgence, while Kayow Nutrition launched sugar-free protein nut butter and cookies. Private Label Middle East featured Kesar Expert's new saffron extract and powder, refined using cutting-edge technology.

The Expert Stage Conference included industry leaders like Big Basket and Mars, who shared market-shaping insights and innovations. Dr. Morgaine Gaye, a visionary food futurologist, emphasized the cultural significance of snacks, stating that food is part of a broader cultural conversation amidst geopolitical changes.
