Air Arabia Expands Global Reach with New Sharjah to London Gatwick Service

Sharjah: Air Arabia announced today the launch of its new non-stop service connecting Sharjah with London Gatwick. The introduction of this key international gateway represents a significant step in strengthening Air Arabia's global footprint and further expanding its growing network from Sharjah International Airport.

According to Emirates News Agency, the new service, commencing on 29th March 2026, will operate double daily, providing customers with greater choice when travelling between the UAE and the United Kingdom. The new London flights reflect Air Arabia's ongoing commitment to providing accessible and value-driven air travel to its customers while supporting the growing travel and trade movement between both markets.

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia, commented on the launch, emphasizing that the new service to London Gatwick marks a notable milestone in the airline's growth journey. He highlighted the company's dedication to connecting key markets with enhanced reach and convenience while delivering a value-driven travel experience. Al Ali also stated that the introduction of London Gatwick enhances connectivity from the Sharjah hub and offers customers a greater choice of affordable and reliable air travel options.

Jonathan Pollard, Chief Commercial Officer at London Gatwick, remarked on the increasing demand for flights to Middle Eastern destinations. He expressed enthusiasm about welcoming Air Arabia in March and noted the recent government approval for routine use of Gatwick's Northern Runway, which adds to the excitement of another operator joining London Gatwick. Pollard looked forward to serving the historic city of Sharjah and the wider Middle Eastern region.
