Ajman: The Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media (ADTCM) has entered into a strategic agreement with Germany-based Vtours to enhance the Emirate of Ajman's visibility and appeal within the German market. This move aims to expand international partnerships and support sustainable tourism growth, further positioning Ajman as a competitive destination in European markets.
According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was formalized in a virtual signing event, with Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of ADTCM, signing from Ajman, and Sabine Jordan-Glaab, CEO of Vtours, signing from Berlin during her participation in ITB Berlin, a leading travel trade show. Representatives from ADTCM attended the exhibition, marking a commitment to strengthening their international presence and building impactful partnerships with global tourism and travel entities.
The collaboration seeks to develop joint marketing initiatives to promote Ajman in the German market and enhance the emirate's inclusion within Vtours' travel packages and product offerings. It will also implement targeted marketing campaigns based on insights into German traveller preferences. The agreement includes organizing workshops and meetings with travel agents and tour operators and exchanging data on travel trends and visitor behavior, aiming to boost the effectiveness of promotional activities and Ajman's standing in the European market.
Additionally, the agreement plans familiarisation trips for media representatives, content creators, and tourism stakeholders to showcase Ajman's cultural, natural, and tourism offerings. This initiative aims to position the emirate as a destination that combines authenticity with modernity and caters to a wide range of visitor interests.
Alhashmi noted that the agreement aligns with the Department's strategic goals to expand its reach in European markets and solidify Ajman's presence in high-value markets. He highlighted Germany's status as a major outbound tourism market, with travelers interested in quality, diversity, and authentic cultural experiences. Alhashmi emphasized that the Department's approach focuses on sustainable partnerships to support balanced tourism growth and enhance the sector's contribution to Ajman's GDP, aligning with broader development goals.
Sabine Jordan-Glaab expressed that the cooperation with ADTCM opens new opportunities for expanding tourism offerings tailored to German travelers. She emphasized Ajman's diverse tourism assets and unique experiences that cater to travelers seeking a mix of relaxation, culture, and leisure activities.
