RAMALLAH, - Another Palestinian prisoner died in the Israeli occupation's prisons on Tuesday, in the second case in less than 24 hours, the Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club said.
Arafat Hamdan, 25, from Bayt Sira village near Ramallah was martyred in the Israeli Ofer prison, the authority and club said in a joint press statement.
The Israeli occupation forces detained Hamdan on October 22 as part of the last crackdown campaign carried out in the West Bank after the eruption of "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood", it said.
It reiterated that the Israeli occupation began a systematic assassination of prisoners, in light of the comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people and the prisoners.
Meanwhile, Omar Daraghmeh, 58, was martyred Monday evening in Majdo Prison, as he and his son were detained by the Israel occupation on October 9, it said, considering this an assassination opertion.
