Abu Dhabi: AQUA Properties has contributed AED1 million to the Fathers' Endowment campaign, an initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. This campaign aims to honour fathers in the UAE by establishing a sustainable endowment fund that provides treatment and healthcare for the less fortunate.
According to Emirates News Agency, AQUA Properties' contribution is a part of a larger community-wide response to the campaign, which is an initiative of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI). The campaign allows individuals to donate in the name of their fathers, thereby promoting the values of compassion, solidarity, and honouring parents.
The campaign seeks to establish the concept of charitable endowments in the region and create a community-wide movement to support its objectives. It helps strengthen the UAE's position as a leader in charitable and humanitarian efforts.
Ali Ashraf Tumbi, Founder and Chairman of AQUA Properties, expressed that the campaign embodies the UAE's long-standing commitment to aiding the less fortunate worldwide, a commitment visible since the nation's foundation and through its numerous charitable initiatives, especially during Ramadan. Tumbi stated, "AQUA Properties is pleased to honour fathers by contributing to this impactful campaign. We are honoured to support the campaign's aim of providing sustainable healthcare to the underprivileged, as well as MBRGI's extensive charitable work around the world."
Donations to the campaign are welcomed from both institutions and individuals across six main channels, including the campaign's website (Fathersfund.ae) and a dedicated call centre via the toll-free number (800 4999). Contributions are also possible via bank transfers to Emirates Islamic Bank and through SMS for Etisalat by e and du users. Other platforms include the DubaiNow app and Dubai's community contributions platform Jood (Jood.ae).
