Austria and U.S. Discuss Transatlantic Relations

Vienna: Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger emphasized the significant role the United States played in ensuring peace and reconstruction in Austria and Europe following World War II. She also extended an invitation to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to visit Austria.

According to Emirates News Agency, Minister Meinl-Reisinger and Secretary Rubio engaged in a phone conversation to discuss the importance of transatlantic relations. Their dialogue covered key topics such as security and defense, peace efforts in Ukraine, potential cooperation opportunities in the Western Balkans, and the role of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
